heh, thanks for the comments. oil cloth is cotton fabric covered with a laminated plastic. basically it makes the material waterproof but still easy to sew. here is a link to a store that sells is. You might be interested, it`s an easy way to make a quick and darling tablecloth.

Well, it is much easier to get an idea of what your beautiful bag looks like on your blog rather than on skype. It's FUN! And I think probably quite functional, since I find my bag so handy. Very cool fabrics! I love all the small details that you add, like velvet and other pieces of fabric.

hi sharon. thanks for the comment. I was indeed a little bit too excited when putting it all together. If I had spent a fraction of the time putting it together as I did quilting it, things would be different. lesson learned.

I stumbled upon your blog by the tutorial for the quilt sleeve...I just thought I would tell you how pretty your quilts look. I love the baby quilt with the spider and I am also working on a coin quilt too. I like that you hand quilt. I am just beginning and can tell you that I will never have the patience for it. Truly a lost art. Keep up the good work!
